Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year!

School began on Wednesday, Aug. 1 for students at modified calendar schools Mount Vernon Community School and Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School.

School began on Tuesday, Sept. 4 for all other schools following the traditional academic calendar. Children are assigned to a neighborhood school based on their home address. High school supplies vary with each course, so high school supply lists are not posted in advance. Students should bring pencils/pens and paper on the first day of school.
