Compensation
Compensation refers to wages and salary paid by employers to employees in exchange for work. The mission of the ACPS Compensation Office is to manage the various forms of direct compensation — that is, employees' pay — that ACPS uses to attract, recognize and retain workers. Our compensation philosophy includes designing and administering compensation systems for the following pay areas:
- base pay
- stipends
- bonus
- differential pay
- incentive pay
- overtime
- promotions
- pay increases (step increases)
- cost of living adjustments
- market rate adjustments
