How to Apply


Applications for all categories of ACPS employment (with the exception of summer school) are accepted via online application only. If you do not have access to a personal computer, you may visit our Human Resources office at 1340 Braddock Place, where one will be made available to you.

ATTENTION TEACHERS: For full consideration, if you do not already hold a Virginia teaching license, please be sure to upload all your official transcripts and any out-of-state teaching license you hold. Your credentials must be reviewed prior to ACPS making any job offer. Therefore, you must provide the proof of your eligibility for a teaching license.

To be eligible for the Masters +30 Pay Scale at ACPS, you must present official paper transcripts that document that you earned 30 graduate-level semester credits AFTER the date on which you were awarded your Master's degree.

  1. Complete the ACPS ONLINE APPLICATION. *New users must register first.
  2. Under "Online Application", click on "Add new Application".
  3. Select a category: Licensed, Support Staff, Administrator, Substitute Teacher
  4. Complete each section of the application. Completed sections are indicated by checkmark.
  5. Submit application.
  6. To update your application or apply for additional positions, return to Workspace and click on "Job Postings".
