Schedule of Events

The TCR envisions a dynamic, relevant and interesting schedule of events. Members meet to discuss state-of-the-art research, receive briefings, debate and draft recommendations for the superintendent and hear from keynote speakers and ACPS staff experts on various compensation matters.

In general, members of the Compensation Review Committee, whether meeting as a whole or in work groups, meet for one hour a month. Working with the members, the project director schedules meetings with a draft agenda at least two weeks in advance for planning purposes. We seek to find a time that is the most accommodating for most members to attend. To date, most meetings take place on Wednesdays, from 4 to 5 p.m. This may be adjusted depending on the topic and speaker availability.

We are sensitive to finding meeting times that do not conflict with major school and Division activities. We ask all members for their input, understanding and flexibility in this scheduling process so that we can make the best possible decision when setting meeting dates and times.
