Understanding School Report Cards
NCLB requires states and school divisions to collect information about how well their students are doing and to share this information with parents and the public via 'Report Cards'. In the Commonwealth of Virginia, Division and School Report Cards summarize student performance on SOL tests and teacher quality in local schools.
For more information on understanding School Report Cards, please see the publication What is a School Report Card? from the Virginia Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center.
