Charles Barrett Fifth-Graders Become Published Authors

Today, as the fifth-grade students at Charles Barrett Elementary School walked across their stage for the last time, they not only graduated from elementary school but also became published authors. Through the DreamDog Foundation's hands-on literacy program called "Book of My Own," works created by Barrett fifth-graders during interactive writers' workshops were published in a comprehensive volume.
