The annual Charles Barrett Elementary School Bazaar, a community outreach event and fundraiser for the school's PTA, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at the Charles Barrett Field and Recreation Center at 1115 Martha Custis Dr., Alexandria.
The theme for this year's family-friendly event is "Country Hoedown," celebrating the old west. Attractions include multiple carnival games with lots of prizes, a strolling magician, pony rides, musical guest City Farm, a dunk tank, a giant moon bounce, raffles, food, drinks and candy.
The event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Tickets will be available the day of the event. For more information, call 703-535-6993.
Students enrolled in the licensed practical nursing program fulfill their clinical experience in area hospital and nursing home facilities.
