Alexandria City Public Schools, Food and Nutrition Services, will sponsor the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Summer Food Service Program at all summer School sites.
Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all enrolled elementary summer school students weekdays from July 6 through 24. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all enrolled secondary summer school students on weekdays from July 6 through 31. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all enrolled Kindergarten Prep students weekdays from Aug. 10 through 21.
Free breakfasts will be served to any child in the community under the age of 18 from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School; Jefferson-Houston School for Arts and Academics; Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology; Patrick Henry Elementary School; and William Ramsay Elementary School. Free lunches at these sites will be offered from 12:45 to 1 p.m.
Free breakfasts will be offered to any child in the community at Frances C. Hammond Middle School between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. and lunches from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. George Washington Middle School will provide community meals from 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. and from 12:45 to1 p.m. T.C. Williams High School will offer meals from 8:45 to 9 a.m. and from 12:45 to 1 p.m. Signs will be posted at the main entrance at each school and each entrance where meals will be served. Meals must be consumed in designated spaces posted at each site. Times may change due to schedule adjustments. Correct times will be posted at each site.
