MacArthur American Girl Club Sponsors Giving Tree Campaign
The Douglas MacArthur Elementary School American Girl Club's Third Annual Giving Tree Campaign begins this week. New hats, gloves, mittens and scarves, as well as gently used coats in all sizes, will be collected in the front lobby of the school at 1101 Janneys Lane, Alexandria, through Thursday, Dec. 17.
The club, supported by the generosity of the MacArthur community, made significant contributions to three different shelters last year. For additional information, contact American Girl Club Sponsor Dr. Bev Vick at 703-461-4190.
