The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria's application for graduating seniors in the T.C. Williams Class of 2010 was posted today on the Scholarship Fund's Web site. The deadline for submitting the application is 5 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2010.
By completing one application, students may be considered for any of almost 200 scholarships for which they qualify. The total value of first-year awards is expected to be nearly $400,000. Students who wish to be considered for awards based on financial need must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The Scholarship Fund will host a FAFSA Super Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 23. Students enrolled in criminal justice courses intern (ride along) with the Alexandria Police Department.
