Volunteers from the Williams College Alumni Association came to Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology on Jan. 16 to complete a service project. Cora Kelly parents and alumni joined the group to paint more than 50 "picture frames" onto hallway walls to display student artwork. Additionally, volunteers were able to touch up various parts of the school. Everyone had a great time, and the event may become an annual tradition.

Assistant Principal Shamus Brady would like to give a big thanks to all of the volunteers, the Alexandria City Public Schools Facilities Department and Cora Kelly teacher Ms. Bradby-Lytle. For more information about the event, contact the school at 703-706-4420.
