Parents are invited to attend the annual Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Parent Information Night on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School's auditorium, 3330 King St., Alexandria. Students currently in grades six through nine with grade point averages of 2.0 to 3.5 may be eligible for the AVID program for the 2010-2011 school year.
AVID is a college preparatory program for students who demonstrate the desire and determination to attend college, are willing to enroll in advanced courses and may be the first in their family to attend college. Join us for a special presentation, as well as a question and answer session!
