Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) School Health Services will again be hosting a Student Health and Immunization Fair before school begins. This year, the event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Francis C. Hammond Middle School Campus, 4646 Seminary Road. ACPS students in grades K-5 who need physical exams, immunizations or tuberculin screening in order to complete school health registration requirements are the target audience for this event.
As in previous years, community partners will help make this event a success. ACPS welcomes exhibitors who wish to share health information with participants. The event needs volunteers, including nurses, doctors or others willing to help with escorting families. We always have a need for those who speak other languages, especially Spanish, Amharic and Arabic.
To volunteer or exhibit, contact ACPS Health Services Coordinator Robin Wallin at 703-824-6650.
ACPS School Nutrition Services meals include vegetarian choices such as chef salads, yogurt, bean and cheese burritos and cheese quesadillas. View school menus »
