Tucker Holds Kindergarten Information Session, School-Wide Picnic
Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School is planning two special events for the first week of school. On the first day of school, Monday, Aug. 2, the school will host a Kindergarten Parent Informational Session and Social from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The school also will hold a Welcome Family Picnic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5.
To help keep parents informed, recent kindergarten parents are hosting the Welcome to Kindergarten Informational Session and Social the first day of school in the school library. After you take your students to the classroom, please stop by the library and bring any questions you may have.
Meet your student's teachers, classmates, friends and their families at the school-wide family picnic on the lawn. Bring a blanket and dinner. This event is sponsored by Tucker teachers, who look forward to meeting their students' entire families.
