John Adams Orff Ensemble Performs at National Health Summit
The John Adams Elementary School Orff Ensemble performed on April 10 for the National Health Summit, held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. Attendees at the summit represented universities, medical schools, health agencies and hospitals throughout the United States. The students performed a 30-minute concert for a "standing room only" crowd.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) hosted the 2012 National Health Promotion Summit: Prevention, Promotion, Progress.
