Alexandria City Public Schools is closely monitoring the 2009 H1N1 Influenza (also known as swine flu) situation. We are currently working with the Health Department and City officials to take appropriate precautions to protect our students and employees.
Recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Health Department may change as the situation progresses, so please check this page often for updates.
During non-school hours, our communication plan is the same as the one we use for closures due to inclement weather:
