2011 Summer School and Summer Learning Opportunities

Kindergarten Preparation (K-Prep) - Students entering kindergarten (learn more)
DATES: August 1-12, 2011
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Each elementary school except Samuel W. Tucker and Mount Vernon (modified calendar).
REGISTRATION: Begins March 28 and closes July 1, 2011.

Elementary - Summer Learning Opportunities - Kindergarten - 4th grade
DATES: August 1-12, 2011
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Each elementary school except Samuel W. Tucker and Mount Vernon (modified calendar).
REGISTRATION: Begins May 2 and closes May 27, 2011.
Available to students who have been identified by their schools as needing extra support. Contact your child's school for more information.

Middle School Summer School - 5th grade - 7th grade
Middle School Summer School Guide (PDF)

TIME: 7:25 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (session one); 11:15 a.m. - 2:50 p.m. (session two)
LOCATION: George Washington and Francis C. Hammond Campuses
REGISTRATION: Begins June 1 and closes June 29, 2011.

Middle School Summer School - 5th grade - 7th grade
DATES: July 18 - August 12, 2011
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Jefferson-Houston School
REGISTRATION: Begins June 1 and closes June 29, 2011.

Middle School Prep - students entering 6th grade
DATES: July 5-29, 2011 - one week program offered each week during this time period
TIME: 7:25 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (session one); 11:15 a.m. - 2:50 p.m. (session two)
