Summer Learning Opportunities
Alexandria City Public Schools will offer the following learning opportunities this summer:
July 9 to Aug. 2 - At T.C. Williams, credit recovery classes and physical education classes. Students wanting to take new classes can take online classes only. More information is available in the Summer School Handbook (PDF)
July 9 to Aug. 2 - Extended School Year, for students with disabilities whose Individualized Education Programs indicate this support is needed.
July 9 to July 27 - English Language Learning (ELL) Summer Learning, only for ELL students. This program will be at selected sites yet to be determined.
Aug. 13-17 - Kindergarten Preparatory (K-Prep) to be held at each traditional-calendar elementary school.
Aug. 13 and 14 - Sixth Grade Orientation (half day each day) at all middle schools.
