Data Team Members

Jane Hansen is State and Federal Reporting Coordinator for Alexandria City Public Schools. Jane's K-12 background includes more than 10 years of data analysis experience which consists of developing procedures to ensure data integrity and managing a database conversion project. Jane recently came to ACPS from King William County Public Schools (KWCPS) where she was the student information system administrator and was responsible for state and federal reporting for the division. Prior to working at KWCPS, Jane was an analyst for Spotsylvania County Public Schools where she was responsible for maintaining data quality between multiple data sources, providing technical support and serving as a liaison between the division and outside vendors. Jane earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Liberty University.

David Serensits is the data manager for T.C. Williams High School. His other duties include serving as test coordinator and Indistar process manager. Prior to working for ACPS, David spent ten years as a special education teacher in Fairfax county. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in Special Education and also holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.
