The Walt Disney movie Remember the Titans is the story about the remarkable 1971 T.C. Williams High School football team. Denzel Washington plays T.C. Williams football coach Herman Boone who fought against racial hatred and taught his integrated team to accept one another. The movie opened in theaters in September 2000.
