Visiting the Athletic Department? Come to the front of T.C. Williams from the intersection/traffic light at King Street and Kenwood Avenue. There are several parking spots to the left for visitors. Please enter the school at the entrance by the circle to your right and sign in at the desk. Once you have signed in you will be directed to the Athletic Department which is at the other side of the building.
T.C. Williams' students may participate in 17 interscholastic sports during the fall, winter and spring seasons. About 25% of our secondary students are involved in one or more sports each year. In addition to athletic facilities and fields at the secondary school, the district owns and maintains a rowing facility on the Potomac River for its crew teams. All teams compete in the Patriot District of the Northern Region, which is highly competitive. The school has a tradition of success for its teams, in district, regional, state and national/international competitions. T.C. Williams is one of the few school divisions in Virginia that require student-athletes to maintain a 2.0 grade point average for athletic eligibility. This requirement exceeds the Virginia High School League eligibility requirements. For more information about our athletic programs, call the Athletic Department at 703-824-6860.
