In order to compete in sports at T.C. Williams High School, a student athlete and team member* must:
* Managers and statisticians need to meet all requirements and return all forms except the physical examination.
** Need to be given to the head coach of the team by NLT the first day of practice/tryouts.
Each student athlete (n/a for managers) is required by the Virginia High School League (VHSL) to have a physical exam in order to compete in athletics. The physical is good for all three sports seasons in one school year. Each new school year student athletes must complete a few form. Physical forms need to be dated May 1 or later and need to be on file in the Athletic Department prior to the student athletes practicing or trying out for a team. Commonwealth of Virginia, camp physicals, doctor office physicals, etc. cannot be used. VHSL athletic physical forms can be downloaded from this site (PDF).
For answers to questions about the Athletic Programs, please contact the Athletic Department at 703-824-6860. If you have questions about a specific sport, contact the head coach for that sport.
