Criteria for Waiver of C Average for Athletes
Appeals for waivers shall be made to the principal or designee. A student may receive only one (1) conditional eligibility waiver for participation. Only the following items shall be considered as basis for appeal:
- handicapped students working up to academic potential
- family illness or other family crisis
- student working up to potential who falls short of 2.0 GPA (1.73 - 1.99)
In extraordinary cases, an appeal may also be granted if it is concluded that the ineligibility would be unreasonable under the circumstances. The principal's decision regarding the appeal shall be final.
