Athletics prepares our young people for the challenges of adult life. Life is reflected in athletic endeavors and success is facilitated by:
Student athletes learn the value of team work and commitment. Excellence in athletics is the result of the hard work of many people over a long period of time. Alexandria's tradition of excellence brings honor and respect to our student athletes, our schools and our community. As members of interscholastic teams, students are responsible for representing Alexandria schools and the entire community. Contributing to our athletic tradition will be a source of satisfaction to the students and to the schools.
Alexandria City Public Schools stresses the importance of a well-balanced activities program for boys and girls and realizes that many hours are given for study, practice, and total participation in any athletic endeavor. T.C. Williams High School encourages parent and community support of students for their achievement, as these activities are instrumental in developing great community interest and pride.
