The primary goal of the ACPS High School Technology Integration Project (TIP) is to increase student achievement through the full integration of technology as a tool for learning. By providing every student in grades 9 through 12 with a laptop computer, ACPS has made technology "as accessible as all other tools" for learning. This is the first step in the process. Reaching the higher goal of full integration of technology to maximize student achievement requires a major paradigm shift in how all teachers deliver instruction in their classrooms.
