Teacher Leadership Program

TLP is a cohort of elementary, middle and high school classroom teachers interested in research, sustained new learning and collaboration on how to engage students in project-based learning.

TLP is an opportunity to:

  • Become a model of a 21st century classroom integrating technology
  • Experiment and take risks in order to foster critical thinking and problem solving
  • Gain experience leading and facilitating learning experiences for staff in which technology for learning is featured

Structure of the TLP cohort:

  • Attend three full day workshops during the summer
  • Attend three full day workshops during the school year
  • Attend three after-school meetings (approximately two hours in length) including presenting your project at the annual TLP Gallery Walk in May
  • Ongoing collaboration online and in person

Benefits of this cohort:

  • 100 hours of recertification credit
  • Necessary equipment to facilitate teaching and learning in your classroom
  • Stipend of $500
  • Collegial, collaborative learning community
