The Title I Programs Department oversees the programmatic and fiscal administration of approximately $5M of federal funding provided under the various Title I programs of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) to include Title I, Part A (Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies), Title I, Part D (Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth who are Neglected, Delinquent, or At-Risk) and Sections 1003(a) and 1003(g) (School Improvement Grants). The Office works closely with other Curriculum and Instruction Offices to coordinate and integrate resources for the development of evidence-based, high-yield instructional strategies that support student learning and ensure compliance with federal mandates under ESEA.
