Work Permits
In Virginia, if you are 14 or 15 years of age you must have an employment certificate (work permit) to work at a job. You must have this work permit even if you are married, or have graduated from high school. If you are under the age of 14 you can NOT be issued a work permit.
The necessary forms are available from the following schools. You should contact the school directly for information on what hours work permits are issued.
