Theogony Student Newspaper
Theogony is Alexandria City High School's student-managed media organization. The students in the Journalism II-N elective class publish Theogony as a 16-page magazine eight to 10 times every academic year. Theogony's online edition, which contains unique online content, can be viewed online. Theogony staff members are also active in social media and video production.
Theogony has been published since the school was organized in 1965 although in its earliest years it was known as Oracle. The word "theogony" refers to a work by the Greek poet, Hesiod. It means, loosely translated, "the account of the origin of the gods" which connects the school's Titan identity. Theogony welcomes student and staff guest contributors.
