Jarrell Slade hails from many counseling backgrounds which offered him rich experiences to share at GM! He has worked in a behavioral clinic with underrepresented minority youth in Prince George's County , MD for 3 years. In addition, he previously worked at a educational leadership program called National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM which helps promotes the access to STEM career fields for elementary aged children. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from University of Maryland, College Park and a Master’s Degree in Education and Human Development (ARCO: School Counseling) from The George Washington University. 

Jarrell provides a comprehensive school counseling program through individual and group counseling, as well as classroom lessons focused on character development, career exploration, and bullying prevention. He chairs several committees including PBIS, 504, and TAG. He also works in close collaboration with the School Support Team to implement student interventions and crisis management while supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of all students.
