Magda Beauchamp

 

Dr. Magda Beauchamp teaches 2nd grade Dual Language and has been at John Adams Elementary since 2015.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Technology and Distance Education.

Originally from Puerto Rico, she has four daughters and one grandson.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, sewing and spending time with her family.

Kaitlynn Perone

 

This is Kaitlynn Perone's second year as 2nd grade teacher at John Adams. She previously taught 1st grade at a Dual Language School in Washington, DC.  This is Ms. Perone's third year of teaching.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Creative Arts from Salisbury University.

Ms. Perone is an advocate for Social-Emotional Learning, a quality education, and building strong, meaningful relationships with students and families.  She also believes in an inclusive classroom for all students to learn and grow to reach their maximum potential. Ms. Perone's goal is for students to become global citizens and treat others with kindness and respect.

Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Perone enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and cheering on the New York Yankees & Giants!

Jessica Priester

 

Dr. Jessica Priester moved to Alexandria, Virginia from Florida in July, 2021. She was born and raised in South Carolina and moved to Orlando, Florida after graduating.

Dr. Priester graduated from the University of SC-Columbia with a B.S. in Medical Technology and a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration. She then attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida to complete a Master degree in Varying Exceptionalities (Special Education) and a Specialist degree in TESOL (Teaching English Language Learners). Dr. Priester later attended Capella University to earn a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction. Dr. Priester has been a teacher for 18 years with experience in kindergarten through fifth grades. Teaching is her passion and she believes in the abilities of all children to pursue their dreams and goals. She also believes that with hard work and perseverance, all things are possible.

Dr. Priester enjoys traveling (road trips, flights, & cruises), going to museums, attending Broadway musicals & concerts, shopping, writing, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jessica Priester considers it a blessing to work with the John Adams Elementary School Family. And she is excited to be here.

Bobbi Wade

 

Bobbi Wade began her teaching career in 2002 in North Carolina and became a teacher at John Adams in 2004.  She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University.  She achieved her National Board Certification in 2017.

Mrs. Wade believes that it is really important to create a fun, comfortable, and engaging learning environment where students enjoy coming to school and are able to be themselves.

Originally from North Carolina, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and shopping.
