Some students with disabilities have a very difficult time when their schedule is disturbed. So, for ACPS students who are at home for a month due to the COVID closure, this time may be very challenging. They may feel overwhelmed, insecure and very anxious while at home. It may be helpful to create a visual schedule that will show a student's daily activities. It can allow students to feel safe and have predictable expectations for the day.
