The Alexandria City High School libraries teach students how to be life-long learners and work to develop imagination through reading. We are committed to teaching critical thinking skills that empower students to be engaged and responsible citizens.
The school library offers books and resources for all members of the school community that encourage the use of critical thinking skills and effective use of ideas and information. When librarians and teachers work together, students achieve higher levels of literacy, reading, learning, problem-solving and information and communication technology skills.
Come to the library for great books to read and to get help with your research projects! You can also visit the Library page on Canvas for 24/7 access to online databases, encyclopedias, and citation help.
