College and Career Center

  • Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (summer, too!), the College and Career Center (CCC) provides information about colleges and universities, NOVA's Pathway to the Baccalaureate program, standardized testing and test preparation, financial aid and scholarships, careers, summer opportunities and more.

    The center hosts representatives from colleges and universities across the country to speak with all interested students.

    Students may request a copy of their transcript, fee waivers for SAT and ACT exams, passes to college rep visits, and more. Students are encouraged to drop by before and after school and during lunch.

    Parents are welcome to visit by appointment.

  • Class of 2018 Job Fair and Senior Information Night

    On Tuesday, March 6, beginning at 3:15 p.m., meet with reps from over 20 career paths including military, health science, business and information technology and skilled apprenticeships. Then, at 5:30, join us in the auditorium to learn about all the special senior events including college and career planning, Senior Experience, yearbook, prom, March Back to the Future, graduation and All Night Grad Party. Families encouraged to attend the entire event!

    T.C. Williams High School Presents Senior Experience 2018

    Ready for a real-world career internship? Join the Senior Experience.

    Senior students on track to graduate in June 2018 are encouraged to apply to the Senior Experience program. Students have the opportunity to shadow professionals in nearly any career setting in the Northern Virginia area from May 21 to June 8.

    In the past, students have interned with Congress, local hospitals, schools, law firms, NASA, Politico Magazine, dance and photography studios, PBS News Hour, Torpedo Factory Arts Center, Belle Haven Marina, transportation authorities, information technology, Alexandria Police Department, etc. The choice is yours.

    Visit T.C. School Counseling in Canvas for the application, information handbook, and required documents. All internships occur during regular school hours. The application window is February 5 - March 2.
