ACPS Student Enrollment Data—Sept 2024

At Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS), we are committed to maintaining transparency by providing our community with up-to-date information about student enrollment across our school division. To support this effort, we have developed the Student Membership (Enrollment) Dashboard. This dashboard will be a valuable resource for students, staff, families and community members, offering a comprehensive view of our student enrollment data.

Average Number of Students per Homeroom Grades: K-5

The ratios below reflect compliance with the Virginia Standards of Quality as outlined in the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, § 22.1-253.13:2. Averages over the ACPS target class size are due to ACPS School Board approved reasons to exceed the target class size such as sibling transfers, military families, and the McKinney Vento legislation or a personnel vacancy.

Membership and Enrollment Reports

Each October, ACPS submits a Fall Student Record Collection Report to the Virginia Department of Education.
