The 2025 Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Celebrations of Learning will showcase highlights of project-based learning (PBL) experiences in our schools this year on Tue., May 20, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at the Alexandria City High School (ACHS) Minnie Howard Campus.
ACPS kindergarten registration process is underway for the 2025-26 school year. We encourage families to register early as it helps to ensure the school division has the teachers, staff and resources needed to support every student.
During Teacher Appreciation Week, the Alexandria City High School PTSA hosted two continental breakfasts to celebrate over 500 teachers and staff, with a special surprise gift of 42 cases of Ready-to-Drink Happy Coffee, Keurig machines, and Happy Coffee mugs, donated by the National PTA.
