ACPS Earns National PRSA Award

The Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) School & Community Relations team has received national recognition for excellence in public relations, earning a Silver Anvil Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its campaign, “Making the Unseen Work Seen: ACPS Heart Work.”
The award, announced during the 2026 Silver Anvil Awards ceremony in May in New York City, recognized ACPS in the category of Most Effective Campaign on a Shoestring Budget ($5,000 or Less).
Widely regarded as one of the highest honors in the public relations profession, the Silver Anvil Awards recognize outstanding strategic communications campaigns and organizational excellence. The ACPS campaign was honored for its effectiveness in highlighting the dedication and impact of employees whose work often goes unnoticed.
