Teacher appreciation is being celebrated throughout all Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) during National Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8, 2026). Students and fellow staff members are celebrating how “teachers create magic” in their classrooms as they nurture, educate and inspire every student for success. From online posts to a sincere thank you for all you do, ACPS teachers feel appreciated for their “heart work.”
