Fiscal Year 2027 Community Budget Forum - From Nurture to Inspire: Investing in Every Student’s Journey

Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is preparing the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, and we want to hear from you!

Join us on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Alexandria City High School Minnie Howard Campus.

This year’s theme is Nurture, Educate, Inspire—the three “buckets” that represent how we invest in our students:

• Nurture: Mental health, counseling, safe schools and student wellness.
• Educate: Great teachers, engaging curriculum and cutting-edge tools.
• Inspire: Arts, athletics, career programs and enrichment opportunities.

By filling these buckets, we make sure every student feels supported, challenged and inspired.

Every voice matters—help shape the budget and advocate for the resources our students and staff deserve.
