Kick off summer at the 10th Annual Hello Summer Community Water Party! Enjoy an afternoon of water games, music, food trucks, ice cream, family fun and community connection. Bring your water balloons, towels and summer spirit for a fun-filled celebration for all ages. Come ready to laugh, connect and get a little soaked!

Celebrate Alexandria’s role in America’s founding during the nation’s 250th anniversary commemoration. Enjoy tall ships, live music, family activities, exhibits, tours, public art, educational programs and more along the Potomac waterfront. Featured ships include Gazela, Kalmar Nyckel, Providence and Sultana. 

Washington Revels Jubilee Voices Concert 

Fri., June 19, 2026, 1-3 p.m.

Shiloh Baptist Church Worship Center (1401 Jamieson Ave.)

Join Revels Jubilee Voices for an afternoon of African American spirituals, poetry, ring shouts, banjo music, storytelling and audience participation. The concert will also highlight four Civil War-era churches: Shiloh Baptist, Beulah Baptist, Zion Baptist and Third Baptist. Presented in collaboration with the Division of African American History. Free admission. 

Juneteenth Celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth in Alexandria with food, community exhibitors, live music and activities honoring the city's history while looking toward its future. All are welcome to join this community celebration. 

CYEP Father’s Day Annual Cookout

Celebrate Father’s Day with family, food, music, games, and community resources at CYEP’s annual cookout. Enjoy free food, fun activities, and a day dedicated to strengthening families and building community. Bring your chairs and good vibes!
