Remember, Spring Break begins for all Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) students and staff on Mon., March 30, 2026 and runs through Fri., April 3, 2026.
- All schools and ACPS offices will be closed on those dates.
After Spring Break, as Mon., April 6, 2026 is a Teacher Work Day for schools using the traditional calendar—there is no school for students in those schools on this day. Students will be back in school on Tue., April 7, 2026.
For students at Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School, which uses the modified calendar—Intersession begins Mon., April 6, 2026 and runs through Fri., April 17, 2026.
In addition, there will be no ACPS Express or Insider newsletters on Fri., April 3, 2026. Publication resumes on Fri., April 10, 2026.
