ACHS Titian Head
Adam Alderton

Winter Coach of the Year: Adam Alderton, Indoor Track

Alexandria City High School (ACHS) salutes its Winter Coach of the Year Adam Alderton, the head coach for Indoor Track and Field. Alderton has done more than lead practices and attend events. He has created structure for one of ACHS’ largest teams, ensuring that every athlete—from first-year competitors to state-level performers—feels prepared, supported and challenged to improve.

Under his leadership, this program has grown in organization, competitiveness and culture. He has helped our athletes perform at a high level while also strengthening the foundation of the program behind the scenes—working closely with the booster club, helping coordinate events  and building systems that will benefit the program for years to come.

Most importantly, over the past several seasons, Alderton has been a driving force in moving this program forward—raising expectations, strengthening accountability and creating opportunities for our student-athletes to succeed.
