Superintendent Search Survey Deadline Extended to June 14, 2026

Superintendent Search Survey Deadline Extended to June 14, 2026

The Alexandria City School Board has extended the Superintendent Search Survey deadline to Sun., June 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., providing students, staff, families and community members with additional time to share their feedback and help shape the future leadership of Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS).

The survey is a vital component of the superintendent search process and is designed to gather input on the qualities, experiences and leadership characteristics the community would like to see in the next superintendent. Feedback collected through the survey will help inform the leadership profile that will guide candidate recruitment and selection.

This extension represents the final opportunity for the ACPS community to provide input through the survey. Once the survey closes, the School Board and its search firm, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), will use the feedback received from the survey and community engagement sessions to develop a comprehensive leadership profile for the school division's next superintendent.

Complete the Superintendent Search Survey

If you have not yet completed the survey, we encourage you to take a few moments to share your perspectives and help inform this important decision for our school division.
