Middle School Boys Basketball Tryouts Set

Here is an update about Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) middle school boys basketball tryouts. Boys tryouts are now set for Oct. 21-23, 2025. Girls basketball tryouts will be held in January 2026. Tryouts are scheduled at each middle school with times posted on the website under Sports Programs, boys basketball. Students must be registered in order to participate in the tryouts.

Peer Tutoring for Athletes

Become stronger in the classroom and on the field. Peer tutoring is available for student athletes who want extra academic support. Every Tuesday from 3:35 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., tutoring is available across core subjects at Alexandria City High School King Street Campus, Room B225.

Titans Boys Varsity Football

Fri., Oct. 10, 2025, at 7 p.m., the Titans Boys Varsity Football team takes on 

West Potomac High School at ACHS. 

Titans Boys Varsity Volleyball 

Tue., Oct. 7, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., the Titans Boys Varsity Volleyball team takes on South County High School at the ACHS Minnie Howard Campus.

Thu., Oct. 9, 202,5 at 6:30 p.m., the Titans Boys Varsity Volleyball team takes on Lake Braddock Secondary at ACHS Minnie Howard Campus.

Girls Varsity Volleyball

Tue., Oct. 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., the Titans Girls Varsity Volleyball team takes on West Potomac High School at ACHS.
