Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) celebrated the dedication of our educators during National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8-12, 2023. Students and other division staff let our teachers know their hard work and commitment to shaping the future of Alexandria’s youth is recognized and valued.
“ACPS teachers empower our students with the knowledge and integrity necessary to make a positive difference in their community as they pursue their dreams,” Interim Superintendent Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt stated at the School Board meeting on May 4, 2023. “Our teachers inspire and guide our students to open their eyes beyond academics and become the leaders of the future.”
