The Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Department of Student Services and Equity launched its “Building Bonds Beyond the School” webinar series on Wed., Nov. 20, 2024, with the first session focusing on Health Services/Substance Use Prevention and Intervention. The webinar discussed school nurses, health resources and strategies to prevent substance use. A recording is now available.
These webinars aim to create a collaborative environment where ACPS families can learn valuable information and receive educational resources to enhance their experiences and outcomes at ACPS. A new topic will be the focal point each month from November 2024 to May 2025.
