Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) families are encouraged to join us for the “Building Bonds Beyond the School” webinar series. The first in a series presented by the ACPS Department of Student Services and Equity will address Health Services/Substance Use Prevention and Intervention on Wed., Nov. 20, 2024, from 6-7 p.m. via Zoom.
These webinars aim to create a collaborative environment where families can learn valuable information and receive educational resources to enhance the experiences and outcomes for ACPS families. A new topic will be the focal point each month from November 2024 to May 2025.
The first webinar will educate our families on how our school nurses support student wellness and provide health resources, as well as explore strategies to prevent substance use and help build safer, stronger communities.
