The fare to ride a DASH bus in the City of Alexandria remains free of charge for the 2023-24 school year. This means that our Alexandria City High School students do not need to use an app or ID card to ride a DASH bus. Students can just hop on board and ride to school and, at the end of the day, go back home on DASH at no cost.
In fact, all Alexandria City Public Schools students, staff and families can use DASH to get around town, go to and from school and ride for free every day.
