Preparedness and safety go hand in hand. Alexandria City Public School (ACPS) has created a video to explain the protocol for shelter-in-place during severe weather and natural disaster events.
This video completes our four-part emergency management video series. The other videos feature secure the building, evacuation and lockdown procedures.
To further help families understand how the division communicates in emergency or crisis situations, ACPS has developed an easy-to-read two-page document and infographic. The PDF can be accessed in multiple languages online.
