On Sun., Sept. 22, 2024, at 3 p.m., the community is invited to Chinquapin Park and the Alexandria City High School (ACHS) Gymnasium to honor Noah’s incredible achievements at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where he brought home medals in both the 100- and 200-meter races.
This is your chance to celebrate alongside the world’s fastest man and to share in the pride of his victories. In addition to Noah, several exciting guests and event highlights, including:
- The Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation
- Dedication to ACHS Coach Rashawn Jackson
- U.S. Representative Don Beyer
- Alexandria City Mayor Justin Wilson
- Alexandria City Council Members
- Alexandria School Board Members
- ACPS Superintendent Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt

But that is not all—this event is about giving back as well. There will be a winter coat collection drive during the celebration, so please bring a new winter coat to donate!
This will be more than just a rally, it will be a moment for our community to come together to honor Noah's achievements and to reflect on the power of dreams and hard work. Let us make this celebration as unforgettable as his Olympic triumphs!
While we encourage everyone to RSVP at alexandriava.gov, walk-ups are welcome on the day of the event, so do not miss this opportunity to come show your support for Noah Lyles and our community.
